Fred Petito is the President and Owner of Exit Factor in New Jersey. He is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and a Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA). As an expert in exit planning and mergers and acquisitions, Fred is passionate about helping business owners leave a lasting legacy by empowering them to execute successful growth and exit strategies to exit their businesses successfully and profitably.

With over 25 years of experience as a C-level executive and senior leader in large multinational firms, roll-up mergers, and startups, Fred has advised both midsized founder-led companies and large global corporations across various industries. Fred began his career as an attorney specializing in commercial, estate planning, and tax law.

His business training includes a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Pace University and the Executive Development Program at Columbia Business School. In addition to his CEPA and CM&AA certifications, he is also a Board-Certified Coach (BCC) and a Certified Leadership Coach.
