Jonathan (Jon) Searles is an entrepreneur, business owner, and seasoned expert in small business acquisition and exit strategies. As an Exit and Growth Strategist with Exit Factor, he champions the power of collaboration and partnership as the path to long term business success.

Jon began his journey in food manufacturing M&A, working for one of the largest ice cream manufacturers in the United States and later acquiring an ownership stake in an East Coast bakery operation. Over the course of his career, he has bought and sold four of his own companies.

One of Jon’s proudest accomplishments was working through the ups and downs to test, refine, and scale a company owned system of home care offices through the challenges of the Covid era.

Today, Jon works directly with business owners who want to start, grow, or sell their companies with confidence. He brings a practical, owner focused perspective shaped by decades of hands on experience.

Jon lives in Waco, Texas, where he cheers on Texas A&M University with unwavering optimism, and enjoys traveling and spending time with his grandchildren alongside his wife of 42 years.
